We feel many of today’s pressing problems (rising healthcare costs, dangerous air quality, inaccessible and expensive diagnostic tests in developing countries, reliance on fossil fuels, etc.) have real world solutions. We believe the solutions can and should come primarily from people and not always the government.
The Spendlove Research Foundation and the Spendlove Medical Research Institute are Utah not for profit research organizations dedicated to developing better solutions through the development of unique biotechnologies and organizing volunteers to provide innovative ideas and strategies. The Spendlove Research Foundation was endowed in 1989 by Dr. Rex Spendlove and family following the sale of Hyclone Laboratories and in 2005 the Spendlove Medical Research Institute was formed to focus on our medical research programs.
